OUR CEO Zama Memela
Zama Memela is a 29-year-old CEO of Gambu Security Based in southern KZN, Port Shepstone the company has over 71 employees at various sites in the province and every day this young woman steers the company into sustainability and growth. In a country with over 53.18%, youth unemployment at 29 years old Zama is an example of what is possible when young people set their minds to business and entrepreneurship.
Zama is the first vice president of the South Coast Chamber of Commerce, she's a marketer by profession. As a service industry graduate with a Swiss higher diploma in Hospitality Business Management from the Hotel Institute, Montreux Switzerland. Zama believes that security management is part and parcel of the superior service experience because no one can truly enjoy any place where they feel unsafe.
Zama is passionate about empowering young women in business and entrepreneurship and lives by the slogan "Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire" she aims to inspire women from all walks of life to go for their dreams with unwavering determination and courage.
Young women from all walks of life need to hear from this young imbokodo who is thriving in a male-dominated industry and who is not afraid of the responsibilities that come with being an employer.
